Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both an athlete and captain of the 2012 Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze on the balance beam. She was one of the few American to be awarded the most medals at an Olympics. She along with her partner Gabby Doug were among the first Americans to take home back-to-back golds in team events. She also won silver medals at the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams at 2 World Championships. When she was just 2, she began to learn gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor workouts. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who died due to cancer. She plans to pursue the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include expanding her trademark range of leotards. Fierce - a novel that she's currently writing, is due out this year.
